Fluidized (fluid) bed dryers are used extensively in the pharmaceutical industries to reduce moisture content of pharmaceutical powder and granules. They have also found use in the drying of suspension, slurries, solutions, dilute paste or sludge.
In fluidized bed dryer, hot air is passed at high pressure through a perforated bottom of the container containing the wet solids.         Coating Pan machine  is consists of an Ellipsoidal pan mounted on a suitable stand and driven by a motor through the right gearbox. The pan is made out of SS 316 and has welded baffles in it.
